cj spring hangers (custom)

Anyone happen to have the diameter of the hole in a cj front spring hanger, If someone has a spare bushing laying around that they could measure I would appricate it. Ive gotten access to a NC plasma table, Ive got the Cad file all except the hole in the hanger. thanks

Re: cj spring hangers (custom)

front spring hanger? there is the Shackle Hanger, which is on the front most of the jeep. the bushings have a 1/2" diameter hole, and a 1/2" OD x3/8" ID sleeve goes inside of the bushing, meaning it takes a 3/8" bolt. the spring Main Eye (non-shackle end) hanger has a 9/16" hole and uses a 9/16" bolt. i think this is the dimension you are looking for. are you trying to make a shackle Reversal?
