Ignition Switch for \'77 CJ-5

I am from the Toyota Forum, and helping a friend with his CJ-5. We took off the steering wheel and underlying components and replaced the key and tumbler. Now how do you replace the ignition switch/where is it located? It is a 1977 CJ-5.

Re: Ignition Switch for \'77 CJ-5

The ignition lock cylinder turns a small gear which pushes a rack connected to a 16" - 18" metal rod which runs down the steering column under the dash and to the ignition switch(which is screwed to the column).

I've got too much month at the end of my money!
