Looking for ideas - Frame to cage tie in\'s

Anyone have any good methods for tie in of the main hoop to the frame? Also rear tubes on top of wheel well tie in? Any pic's would be appreciated. I already have the front hoop I added attached to the frame, but am looking for ideas to complet the job.

Thanks,
Tim

Here's the front mount. I intend to remove some of the "spacers" once I reduce my body lift from 2" to 1".

Anyone? It's the mounting of the stock hoop just behind the front seats that is troubling me. That 90 degree base is a puzzling arrangement to bolt to. Would really appreciate any ideas for a mount that is strong but not a contraption!

My main hoop ties in the same way as your front does. I used the 2 bolt holes through the floor to bolt it to.

What did you put between the underside of the floorpanel (that is boxed in with the bolts outside the box) and the outrigger?

Re: Looking for ideas - Frame to cage tie in\'s

For the main hoop, on the vertical surface I put a piece of 4"x6"x1/4" plate that is bolted thru the tub and the vertical part of the 90deg. you are talking about. I then ran a short section of 1.75 tube from that plate to the top of the frame rail and welded it on. All my mounts are solid, nothing between them and the tub. For the rears I bent some 1.75" into a J, with the bottom of the J welded to the frame, and the top has a 6"x6"x1/4" plate welded to it that is thru bolted to the cage rear mounting plate (like the kits you see form Kentrol).

I have a 'glass tub, so the bolt goes all the way down through everything.
