Dang that thing must snort with the SBC in there! Hey, I've always meant to ask you...your login name being "ducmon900 and all, does that happen to stand for DUCati MONster 900? Just wondering, I'm into bikes as well.

Re: Pics of the jeep

Its a 86 tpi motor that I pieced together last. I did the coversion last year and rebuilt the motor as well. Had it bored .30 over, crank ground down, just the basic rebuild. Sports a comp cam and springs, lt1 injectors, 882 chevy heads that have been ported and gone thorough. Did all the work myself. Used the 86 iroc harness. Put some 88 corvette manifolds on it. 2 into 1 exhaust 3 inch. I'm glad I did it like this, has smooth horsepower.

Hey smokngun I think your the first to ever guess what it meant. I don't have my 96 Duc anymore and miss it a lot. I figure once I get the jeep where I want it, I'll get me another duc.

Re: Pics of the jeep

I know what you mean about missing your bike. I sold my '87 Honda Hurricane 1000 to buy the frame for my CJ to get the project rolling. I probably won't buy another older bike (no speed parts available) but I'm lookin' at year old CBR 1100's or an RC-51. I love the sound of the twins, but the inline fours make soooo much smooth power that it will be a hard decision. I love the Duc's as well, very sexy bikes, but unles it's a 916/996, it just doesen't make enough power for me, and those are $14,000 used!
Again, nice Jeep! (there, the post wasn't totaly OT)
