KS Jeepers, Went to Randolph today

Today was the first day to Randolph. IT is pretty easy to find. Go up highway 77 past wakefeild and Reily. There is a brown sign, ORV AREA ->. IF you miss it take the first next right and go up to the back area. Get on a PAved road and then take another right at the sign. Then you are there.

I went out there with a buddy on ATV's. There is a ton of mud by the lake area. Pick your type and go for it. The trails through the trees are pretty cool. Little steep hills and a dry creek bed are in the package. Some areas are rocky and get really steep. The steepest hills are rocky and about 100 yards long. around noon is when all the jeeper groups started wheeling. There were a few stock Grand Cherokee's and Sports. I would say there was about 15 close to stock YJ's and TJ's. Although the CJ guys had the big tires monster lift and low gears to make it up the rock crawling hills. I am going to try and get out there some time in the Jeep.

Sorry, my YJ is a 90, not an 87.

Where are you located? I couple friends and I are planning a few runs up to Randolph this year. Hopefully I can get my CJ2A finished in time! Finding good trails around here (Wichita) is getting difficult!

Eddie I know what you mean, I live in Wichta also. All the places that I use to wheel at for years are all closed off. let me know if you find someplace new.
