Re: TDS Run next weekend

The run is held in the Truck Haven Hills near the Salton Sea... SoCal... It's a far drive for you from Indiana. If you leave today you could make the run this Saturday. HAHAHA
It's kind of funny that no one is going. There must be over a 1000 jeeps and other 4x4 out there. They have a rafle and give away well over $50,000 in parts and equipment. It's a great run.

Re: TDS Run next weekend

O.K. I am surprised to that there are not more people responding to this post. You are right the will be and estiment of over 1200 “registered” vehicles this weekend and estimate of around 3,000 people! I am a 4 year club member for TDS and this will be the 40th year for the club doing the Desert Safari since 1963! I’ll tell you its a lot of work for a club to but on with 50 club members. Just working on the prize committee is itself a job of its own! The best part and the most fair part is that there is ONLY one raffle ticket given to each registered vehicle. So that means there are only around 1200 tickets playing for around 120 prize packages. That means the odes of whining some incredible prize packages is really good! No one person can buy multalble tickets like so many other raffles, unless he has multiple vehicles he would like to register.

See you out there!

Grant
