any problems with a 360 swap?

I have a 86 cj7 and plan on swapping in a 360 out of a 75 wagoneer. Will my T5 bellhousing bolt up and what will have to be done about the motor mounts?

Yes, the bellhousing will bolt up to an AMC 360, and you'll need new motor mounts at @ 200.00 if you by the MORE Bombproof Mounts. If you want other motor mounts you'll have to search the previous posts for that information.

You can actually redrill your current motor mounts to work with the V8. I've done it and it turns out pretty well.... not as strong as factory, but pretty good.

depending on the type of driving you do, i would think twice about putting the t5 behind a v8. i've scattered them with a stock 6. not a very strong tranny.

if it aint broke, the pedal is on the right

Thanks for the list. It helped out a bunch. I've decided to just rebuild my 258 for now and start stock piling some parts for the V8 swap later on down the road.
Thanks
