is it a waste of time to replace my old motor mounts with new rubber ones? also how much should the shifter move side to side as you get on and off the gas? mine probably moves 2 inces side to side. seem like a lot to me. anyone?

Re: more motor mount questions

Is it a waste of time? Yes. Is it a waste of money? Yes. Should you buy urethane mounts? Yes. Is 2" a lot for the shifter to move? Yes. (see a pattern here?)

I'd also recommend putting in urethane tranny mounts while you're at it. I did the motor mounts on my CJ in less than an hour with simple hand tools and a floor jack.

I'm boycotting sigs. If ya wanna see what I have, check my profile.
