How About This For Your JEEP

Just admiring the new SVT Cobra engine .
390 HP and 390 ft.lbs of torque . That would look so good in my old CJ5

Re: How About This For Your JEEP

I bet H8 would love to have that as a new mod for his jeep. Could be a straight bolt in. Mucho power. Instead of rock crawling it will be rock jumpin.

No thanks. That carburetor looks too hard to work on and where the he77 is the aircleaner? Gaud, I dont think it even has a distributor. Runs on PFM, right???? Also I thought all them little cars had the engine a goin left ter right, you know, sideways. I betcha the dude was leaning on a fender when he took the picture.

Huh?

That is a rear drive config! just look at the strut towers on either side of the engine! That is one neat looking little blower however, wish I had something like that for my truck.

Enjoying Montana's Big Sky. Not enjoying our continued lack of snow!

Rear drive? I sit in the front to drive, my short legs I guess. Blower? I did the Chevy switch over on mine but it's on the firewall.

Huh?

Re: How About This For Your JEEP

Having owned and driven mustangs I have to agree with "little car". Perform like the blazes, but they are little. Heck, with that new lower hood line I could drive over one with my nearly stock Ranger, let alone the CJ! If you are in anything with any ground clearance and you had a head on with a mustang, you'd get launched!

Nice looking engine though. What is the displacement? Hows the weight compare to my 304?

It's all a state of mind, and if you don't mention the state of my mind, I'll be happy to overlook yours!
