Re: Bolt on SOA.

There has been a thread on this recently.
Do a search on bolt on soa
I believe the consenus was that it doesn't address anything but putting the spring mount on top of the axle.
It doesn't provide for new steering.
It was also mentioned that you could have a shop weld new perches on for $50 or so, so it isn't worth it.

I may have this wrong, but this is how I remember it

Re: Bolt on SOA.

Joey has abouyt summed it up.

do a search for SOA, then understand what has to happen to make a good soa, then see what the kit does, and see if its the same.

Re: Bolt on SOA.

With the amount of spring wrap present with SOAs in general, I don't think a bolt on kit would be safe. I wouldn't trust a bolt on kit for SUA! Welding is the only safe way to go.

Re: Bolt on SOA.

I mostly agree with AllLockedUp. I know they make a bolt on kit, but for SOA welding is the only way to go IMO. It's probably cheaper too...two....to???

Re: Bolt on SOA.

yup, about one month ago I started a tread on that. I thought it was real cool. but, $500 for the spring perch is tooo much. also, you would be stuck with the D30 and D35 axle.
