Bent stub shaft yoke, what do i do?

I was changing my front axle u-joints today and i went to press the joint into the stub shaft and it won't line up right. It doesn't look quite right, like it's bent a little. Any ideas on what to do? If i need a new stub shaft anybody have a 297x d30 stub shaft lying around?

If the yoke is bent, you can use the hammer technique to straighten it, but I would start looking for a spare shaft to replace it with. There is a lot of force on u-joints and having things a little out of line can amplify the force. I have used the hammer technique, but u-joints will wear out faster, especially on a TJ since the u-joint is always turning.

i banged on it with the bfh and then ended up grinding the yoke flat so i could get the clip in, i think i'll try and find a spare stub shaft and i've ordered a spare u-joint just to be safe.
