Re: ARB Snorkel

I don't have one installed, so I cant give you advice on it. I don't think to much of them, and they don't give you any benefit except getting fresher air. I don't like the idea of not being able to fold you windshield.

Re: ARB Snorkel

How does Air get fresher? I'll tell you how, it doesnt have as much dust in it. When you are in a group on a trail, you dont want everybody elses dust going into your engine, hence the snorkel. Up high, where the FRESHER air is. Also helps when playing in mud or water, where it is harder for water to splash in the intake. ARB claims somewhere on thier website that these also function as a type of a Ram-Air system, I cant make any claims to that, but I can tell you that I havent regretted purchasing mine. I can still fold my windshield if I want, theres nothing stopping that, The Snorkel is mostly supported at the base, so if you fold the windshield, you are only losing the support of maybe 2 out of 10 bolts.

And it looks cool!
