Spring and Shackles Bushings???

Are the greaseable bushing worth the extra $$$ or are the straight poly bushing just as good? Thanks in advance, I just bought my new confer shackles and am about to buy bushings.

Re: Spring and Shackles Bushings???

I'd get the greasable kind, but I like grease! I don't have the greasable shackles on my CJ yet but they are next on the list, I have 14 zerk fittings on it now and it just seems like I need more! Anything that helps to keep moving parts lubricated and free of corosion is money well spent in my book!

One thing to wach out for though, Some of the greasable bushing kits say they are for your "Stock springs and shackles". My stock CJ-7 springs and shackles used 3/8" bolts and the aftermarket spring bushings (and I assume aftermarket shackles) have 1/2" bolts, so ask what size they are before ordering to make sure they will work with your equiptment!

GREASABLE for sure
they are real quiet if you keep them greased and should last longer.
