Anyone know how much the TJ Rubicon gonna cost?

I picked up Petersen's 4Wheel and Off-Road. And they have an article about hte 2003 Jeep TJ Rubicon. Dana 44s, air lockers, granny trannyy, 4:1 low range t-case 4.10 gears. Everything you need already done... except 33s (it comes with 31s). Does anyone know how much this thing is gonna cost, if it's the right price, i'd sell my YJ and buy the Rubicon. It looks like it would be a total beast.

Local dealers around MO are estimating $30k
Pretty pricey territory, but maybe worth it...

Re: Anyone know how much the TJ Rubicon gonna cost?

Hopefully they will make it competitive with the cost of added ARBs, gears and swapping a 44 up front and SYE kit. All that adds up to a good bit of money so I think they could be able to be competitive, the question is will they. I know jeeps are built and not bought, but this would be very tempting, throw a 4 inch lift and 33s, a winch and be very well equipped.

I was just thinking about that. With everything already done to it..... what else is there to spend all your time and effort on..... hmmmmm maybe the Rubicon isn't a good idea after all, no play time.

Re: Anyone know how much the TJ Rubicon gonna cost?

i hear the transfercase alone is a whopping 7,000$ so my best guess is a price tag of 30,000 $ who knows -Jess

Yea thats pretty pricey. Especially after I rip those d44 raisins out and put in some real iron diffs in. You think they would print a brand new rubicon with rockwells!!!
