clutch size?? 11/10.5? Long...
How do I tell what size my flywheel is drilled for. I talked to an adv adapter guy, and he said that I can use any one, as long as I get matching pressure plate...
the clutch disc is as follows.
PN 5304679 yr 72-75 t-14,15,18 6&8cyl 10.5"
yr 80-86 t-170, sr4, t4,5 6&8 cyl 10.5"
PN 3184867 yr 72-75 t-14,15,186&8cyl 11"
yr 80-86 t-170, sr4, t4,5 11"
In the 4wd hardware book it says that your flywheel has to be drilled to accept the 11".
the flywheel is supposed to be off a 258,and the numbers are 3236259-A, can I just measure something and it will tell me what I need??
And do I need to get the diaphram style, or the 3 finger style??
10.5 72-81 6&8cly 3finger
10.5 82-86 6cly diaphram
11" 72-75 80-86 6&8 cyl.
I have a 304 with a t176 bellhousing I'm matching a NV4500 to. the t176 has the regular clutch fork, hot a hydro cyl...
cant think of any more info to post.
Edit: geeze, I just looked and there are 3 different release bearings too:72-75 cj 6&8,76-81cj finger style, and 82-86 diaphram.. HELP?
