hardtop and steel doors fit??

I have a chance to get a deal on a hardtop and steel doors off an 87 wrangler. I own an 82 CJ7. Will these fit my jeep without to much trouble????

Indeed they will fit with no trouble at all...just make sure your door latch hinges are the rotary in case the PO did some hack job to it. It should be the rotary hinge after 1980 but check just to be sure. If it is round, it is the rotary hinge..if its flat, its the old style hinge. Other than that, you're good to go.

the only issue you will have, is the yj back hatch is designed so the tailgate opens first. its just the opposite with the cj, the hatch must open first. if you live in florida, i will swap you a 7 top for your wrangler top.
