MC2100 on a 1 bbl manifold?

Is it nessessary to change my 1 barrel manifold, in order to install an MC2100? I really don't want to hunt down another manifold and take a chance on getting a bad one, and wasting a bunch of time. I've got four kids, I don't have much time left...

yes you will want a 2bbl intake. As far as price I got a quote of $30 shipping included from Bryan email him and he will answer any questions and send pictures.

That's correct.
Do the job right or forget about it.
I've a couple for you at the same $.
Also a pristine glass bead shot exhaust if needed.

Re: MC2100 on a 1 bbl manifold?

Look at it this way, it's an easy job to swap manifolds, and a new gasket will do wonders for a vacuum leak that easily occurs at the head to intake. The fel pro gasket set includes everthing you need. You might want to buy all new grade 8 bolts at the same time. Can't hurt.

My older jeep engine has a cast iron 2 bbl intake siamesed on top of the exhaust manifold to gain warm up heat to the bottom of the manifold, instead of the electric element on the newer aluminum intakes. Take a look at your set up and make sure you get both intake and exhaust if that's what you need.

Re: MC2100 on a 1 bbl manifold?

I have seen a 4 bbl manifold for sale for the 258 somewhere... Would that help boost preformance even though the 2100 is a 2bbl? Thanks- Tim
