I got my Flatty!!!!!

Well I did it, I got a 1946 CJ2A. And I got it free!!! Or at least kind of free, since the boat i traded for it was free.
Here is the braak Down:
4cyl, T90, dana 18, dana 25, Dana 41
Floor boards are in good shape which i am surprised about.
Sides have rot, but are still intact.
Looking at the jeep from a distance it looks perfect.
All gauges there with no other cutouts on the dash.
PTO on the transfercase
Engine smokes
No brakes, no backing plate or anything, but i got my 11 inch fronts to go on there, when i upgrade front axles.
Frame could be better, but it wont fall apart when i drive.
Suspension is crazy. The previous owener before this one had the spring mountstaken off and rewelded onto a piece of square tubing thn rewelded to the frame. Kind of a spring over with out putting the springs over the axles. But the job is really done good with cross braces and such, but it needs to go back to original, but i may spring it over because shaft angles are not bad.
Also with it I got another engine, which may be a WWII engine, because it has a bronze plate on it with rebuild stats from the military and it said it was rebuilt in 1945. Pretty cool. Also i got misc. parts, and two original glass bowl fuel pumps. Now I have to find an oil type air filter to put bak in it.
I will get pics tomorrow when it is daylight.

Oh boy, you may go Spring-Over, but your looking for an oil-bath air filter?

Good score, Dan, and I hope you don't neglect the M-38A1 and spend all your money on the '2a
