Carb install

I have my MC2150 almost complete. Anyone have a good idea on how to hook up the throtle linkage. The old one pulls down and the new carb pulls sideways. I could use a universal linkage kit but the brake booster is in the way. Any good ideas?

Re: Carb install

Timnmb.. or so..

Search for "autolite" it should bring up the correct post, it's been done a few times.

As for the throttle linkage.. I looked at mine for about 3 hours trying to figure out the best way to do it right so I wouldn't have any "issues" down the road.

I opted to replace the bracket holding the cable instead of modifying the linkage.

I can get some pics tomorrow.
Only had to do it once.. got it spot on the first time round.
