Happy Happy Joy Joy.. Looking at 46 flatty!!!

I am going to look at a 1946 willys tomorrow. I was conversign online with a kid who wants to join the jeep club when he gets old enough. He then told me his dad was going to get rid of his old willys. Well i talked to the dad today. Turns out it is a complete CJ2A. Stock everything, the floor boards are intact, has bondo on sides. Recovered original seats. Engine smokes. Tranny jumps out of 2nd. No brakes. It seems to be in OK shape compared to others i have looked at. It comes with another engine. Good thing is i have alot of parts from my 63 cj5 that will be used for it. I believe it even has a PTO on it. I am very eager to look at this thing, so eager i probably will not sleep. So i will snap some photos when i look at it tomorrow.

Re: Happy Happy Joy Joy.. Looking at 46 flatty!!!

I love the flatties but arn't they a little on the small side for us bigger guys? I have never sat in one but they look a little cramped to me. Guess I'll have to make do with cutting my fenders on my CJ7. Post some pics of your great find, we all want to see!

No kidding. I would love to get a flattie, but at 6'4" I can't even fit into a CJ5 comfortably.
