Kill switch

I took the pain in the ass Viper alarm out of the CJ7 today. I would like to have a kill switch or something similar that will make it harder to steel. Any ideas? Instructions?

I have a write-up on preventing CJ theft if I can locate it in my compooter. Oh, I remember.....it's on a disk. If you e-mail me I might be able to send the write-up to you. My e-mail is [email protected]

Re: Kill switch

I had a viper in my cj to remove too ... as for the kill switch I removed mine but if you want one you can a good 2 position switch some wire and splice it in to the wire going to the coil.

Re: Kill switch

To be quite truthful, the easiest place to hide a kill swtich is right out in the open. Just put a 2nd Hi/Lo beam switch on the floorboard and hook it up to activate any number of relays you want to enable and disable any device under the hood. The switch is sturdy and can be well placed and we all seem to have feet to activate it with out a lot of people looking for that secrete switch.
