I guess Jeepgods can be ON anything they want. No sniffing dogs here !!
Like your web site, use it often.

As for the 135; I've never looked to see. I will now. What size Dodge did you see it in??

Jeepgod, i think you might be astray on this one...

The Dodge's use dana 80s as their largest rearend. Its in 2500HDs and 3500Duallys with either the V-10 or the Cummins and usually a manual transmissin, but could be had with the automatic and the camper package. The Dana 135 I believe is only found under the Ford F-550 Stupid Duty. It may be in the 450 as well..but haven seen one yet. Let us know what you find. What would you use an axle that massive for anyway? A winnebago? ITs too heavy for anything else....

oh... i wasnt going to use it.. i just seen it.. was some huge dodge.. i would say around a 550 size thing.. so i got so snoopin and poopin... to when i see this MASSIVE axle.. and was like..mmmm... so i crawl under this thing.. and sure enough.. it said 135 on it...

i wonder if the owner was watching me??? would have been a sight..

i had also seen a ford F-750 pickup.. yes i said pickup.. it was at the TN off road round up... that thing was pretty damn big.. someone was using it to tow with.. but it was a full on pickup.. on steriods...

Yep, the F750 is something like a 2-1/2ton. At least the 2 different ones we had at shops I worked at had a different hood then the regular pickups, but pretty much the same cab. The ones I've dealt with were 2wd though. I have seen them with 4x4 gear, but never looked closely at it. Most of the rigs we worked on were bigger still like LTL 7000 Fords, Kenworths, Peterbuilts and Cats--except for the cats, they were rear wheel drive--though you could lock both rear axles together, or lock one out for economy/steering.

Remy, that's the first time I've ever heard someone say that an axle was TOO BIG for a Jeep! *grin* Now that people know they exist, there will be a rockcrawler on the Rubicon or Sledgehammer next summer running it!

It's all a state of mind, and if you don't mention the state of my mind, I'll be happy to overlook yours!

jeepgod, I may have seen the same F-750 pickup as you. It was a tow rig and the bed was about head high! The one I saw was white. I think my friend took a pic of it, bad-ass looking!

BTW, my Dodge Cummins has a Dana 80, huge! Man I love this truck! I think it's been done but the HO Cummins with the 6 speed in a jeep would be sweet. (little heavy) Might as well stick that Dana 80 in there too! Oh the evil thoughts jeepers have!
