Score two M-416\'s for the Marines!!

Here they are. There's one left but it's in much worse shape than these two. These two now belong to elusive and jeepgod, we just have to figure a way to get them from Albany, Ga to East Carolina.

Nope, that's my ball hitch, I just switched them out for the ride home. BTW, the guy wouldn't talk down, he kinda knows what he had. I'm going back by there to take some pics of some of the stuff that he has. 1-ton driveshafts, different types of compressors, rockwells, d60's, Corp14 bolts, etc., etc.,

Re: Score two M-416\'s for the Marines!!

Hi Rich, everyone needs a trailer! What would be a good price for one of those? I know a feller thats a couple of hours from me and he has a couple of them and I would like to know what I should pay for one, ya know a little knowledge can keep ya from getting hurt and I have a BAD wife and 4 kids, I don't need to get hurt anymore!

Thanks!
Steve

These cost $325 each, but I have seen some in much worse shape go for $500+. I tried to deal with the guy but he knew what he had. They look pretty bad but the frame, axle, and box are all pretty solid. The rust is just surface rust. These look about the same as mind did when I brought it home.

What, y don't want to tow them to Eastern NC like that?
If I were closer, I'd offer up my flatbed trailer and tow'em up, but I'm a long ways from just Albany, GA, let alone Eastern NC.

rkcrawl... actually... i have a flatbed trailer... but between the 2 of us, nether jeepgod or I have any vehicles that arent jeeps that are reliable to tow down there and back. theres really no rush... maybe I'll go get mine with my wifes tj....on my way to mont eagle..

that would be so cool
I'll own one of those things before I die.
I don't have anything I need to tow, but man they seem so useful
