NP207 and Self Lube..

Anybody know if a NP207 Self Lubes when flat towing? I know a 231 does, but what about my 207?
Thanks!

Re: NP207 and Self Lube..

No, it isn't....my 1986 XJ has a NP 207. According to the owners manual, the 207 needs modification to be flat towed further than 15 miles or faster than 30MPH.

Re: NP207 and Self Lube..

well isnt that just peachy....
Oh well, I plan to do a NP231 swap soon enough to get rid of these terrible 207 problems..

Is a tranfer case swap a fairly easy thing?

Thanks!
