94 YJ tilt column parts

I just bought a 94 YJ that is a 4 cylinder automatic. It was stolen, so the column was busted. The collar is broke and the piece that connects the lock cylinder to the linkage that goes to the ignition switch is also broken. Can you get parts from the dealer for it?
How easy are they to repair?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, dealers should have the parts... as should junkyards, GM Dealers, GM cars as well.

Is it easy to repair? Take a look here to see the ropes: http://www.aros.net/~rbuck/column/tiltcol.html

Re: 94 YJ tilt column parts

I repaired my '87 yj column last summer.I will have to look and see what I have. I have that housing.Mine is old though, I would just send it to you for cost of shipping. It is unreal expensive at dealer.I think the piece you need to your lock is the rack assembly.I saw one at Advance for about 15.00,dealer would be $70.They are in Help section and identified for Chrysler ignition rack assembly.A liitle tricky to replace.A picture of what you have would help.Going price for junkyard tilt column is $150.00
