Re: the PIC of the 4 square-eyed beauties.

What do you guys think will make a better tow vehicle?
A 1994 ZJ, or a 1989 Waggie?
The waggie has a 360, 4 wheel drive, and a frame; the ZJ is a 318 with all-wheel drive, unibody(of course)...
I dont knw the ratings on the Waggie, but the Zj is 7000 pounds.

Any ideas? Oh, the waggie is getting a 6 inch lift and 35's in the next ....11 days.

Nice lookin' fleet Ben! As far as tow vehicles go, the Waggie is probably a stronger platform (assuming the frame is good), but to pull an open trailer with your YJ on it I think the ZJ is a much better candidate. The Fuel injected 318 probably has a bit more power than the ol' carbe'd 360 AMC and the 6" of lift and 35's will just detract from the Waggie's ability to be a stable platform to tow from. I'd pick the Grand Cherokee.

No wonder your gun is smoken'.. you hit the key points right on the money.

Therefore, I must accept your opinion, and now incorporate it!

Thanks!

2 is a not-running run-down engine-less, transmission-less 1948 Willy's. Which is located at my parents house as a "Lawn-Sculpture"
