Is the sailcloth top worth the money?

Is the sailcloth soft top really quieter than a hard top? Are they worth the money? Thanks-Tom.

Re: Is the sailcloth top worth the money?

My friend just got one for her YJ. She really likes it. It was very quiet. But now instead of the wind you hear all the funny noises the Jeep makes. But I don't think it was that much more than a normal soft top. I might be wrong but, it was made well and it looked good.

I dunno about it being quieter than a hard top, but it's very quiet, and he's right about hearing EVERY noise the Jeep makes.. But we all like those sounds anyway, right guys? right?
