I\'m Going to be on TV

Not trying to brag...but I just thought some of you would like to see one of the faces that is attached to the jeep.
My wife and I did an episode last June for Weekend Warriors, a DIY program that airs on HGTV. Well, it airs this Thursday, Jan 3rd, 5:30 & 8:30 PST (8:30 & 10:30 EST). I tried to get them to use a shot of me using the on-board air in my CJ to blow some sawdust off...but they are real strict about showing any type of vehicles in their show....they don't want to get into any issues regarding cars and advertising.
So...I don't get to show off my jeep, but I do get to show off the woodworking that my jeepchick and I can do.

John...southern CA
84CJ7, 3"lift, 32"BFG, 4.10's, ARB Rear, Detroit Front, Solid Axle's, Durabak, York Air

They say we learn by our mistakes......I guess thats why we are all so smart.

Re: I\'m Going to be on TV

John,
Thanks for the heads up. I will be watching.
It'll be good to put a face to the name.
Woodworking is one of my many addictions, too.
All the best

Re: I\'m Going to be on TV

Seriously, it's always fun the first few times you are on TV...

I'll flip the boob tube on that day!!
We should all write in to the HGTV and tell them we want to see more of this kind of woodworking!!!!
(Then you can have your own sequel!)

As long as we don't see you and CJ Dave marching at the "Re-Elect Clinton, Gay Pride" parade, it's cool....

I'm always afraid I'm going to wind up on 'COPS' with some 400 pound Georgia sheriff standing on my neck saying, "Ya-alllll have the riiiiiight to remain silent, so shut the *BEEP* up..."

Good luck with the spot!
Aaron.

So many cats, so few recipes...

TeamRush,
I might be able to oblige you and as a bonus I could have the narcotics dog brought out to make you really look good.

Re: I\'m Going to be on TV

ahh damn it
I was getting ready to reply and tell you that you had a nice house.
I'm pissed that I watched 20 minutes of that show and its not you.
I checked your profile to see if it said dave..well it did not.
I was wondering what woodworking you did, as they were remodeling a kitchen.
I must have missed the program you were on.
