O/T but way cool

I found this thing on EBAY last night....it's in oregon in a surplus sale...they are calling it an airplane pusher...I told the wife that I need it ...so being a woman she says I'm crazy[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img]...then she asks what is it[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]....I said honey don't you know it's ah....it's ah...it's ah...????..it's a snow plow[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif[/img]...Yah thats it...I don't know what that front and rear end are but you could never hurt them...I'll keep working on her...

I'd love to see that thing hit some trails over here in OR. Sucker would make it a few feet up, then start diggin. Pretty soon, no more ruts!! It'd of flattened EVERYTHING!![img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

pretty neat machine diesel powered auto tranny and planetary axels...and my guess is that front bumper is solid and it has a bigger weight right behind the cab

Well it's called an Eagle, and yes it will push plane. I use one at work to move 40,000lb trailers. But, you really don't want to drive one down a bumpy street, let alone off road. It's got all wheel steering and gears so low it won't go above 20mph in 3rd gear(yes it's a 3 speed auto). I've never looked into the axles but I'm sure they weigh as much as a Jeep. It's a powerhouse but not real useful...unless you need to tow some air planes around.....
