Re: Before and After pic of Jeep.

YJaroundtheworld, thanks, it flexes pretty well, I'm happy with it. this pic is at Uhwarrie, after being lifted for a day, so it's not so stiff anymore I can't wait to find an RTI ramp around here to play on. He's about to get 2'' more, and bigger treads, so standby for confirmation

Re: Before and After pic of Jeep.

Needshelp - what are you going to put on to get the extra 2", coil spacers? Are you going to do gears also or see how the 3.73's run with tires larger than 33's? MY TJ is not getting anymore of a face lift for a while, the CJ is getting all the attention. BTW, your TJ looks much better!!

Re: Before and After pic of Jeep.

Kentuckycrawler, thanks, yes I'm going with 2 inch spacers for the addt'l lift. This next mod will be a pretty big one, I will be adding the spacers, bigger treads (35 or 36's), and 4.56 gears. Waiting to see when the D30 will poop out on me also You know how it is, you do one thing, you gotta do a bunch more. take it easy

Been waiting on the digitals from a buddy to make the post. Not a lot of difference to look at it, but still a buttload of work.

Re: Before and After pic of Jeep.

Here are a few before and after pics.
The 1st pic is just after I bought it, the 2nd is after I installed the SOA, The last is a most recent pic(But not as recent as the newest smashed up driver fender).

Re: Before and After pic of Jeep.

Yep its still road legal, at least in Nevada, and they dont give me any trouble here in Sacramento. In Oregon, they told me to get it back on the trailer or put bigger fender and mud flaps. Its actually still used as our second car, Jeepchick uses it as a grocery getter, and we argue over who gets to drive it, when the weather is nice. I have a soft top, and doors that still fit on it, and are on now.
As far as the time on the build up. I bought the Jeep about 6 years ago, and built it up to 33" tires and 4" lift, within the 1st couple of months, I drove it like that for 3 years, including, running the hammers. About 3 years ago I went to an SOA, and the build ups have continued since.
Here is a pic with the top and doors on.
