Re: Tire sizes

Those are the true sizes, they are in inches. Most tires bigger than 30" tall are rated in inches not milimeters or centimeters like ordinary car tires. All tires from Interco (Super Swamper, Bogger, Thornbird,) are rated in inches.

Re: Tire sizes

I don't know the true sizes but most seem to run about 1 inch smaller than marked on the side wall. That's seems to be pretty average.

Re: Tire sizes

My 33'' MTR's actually measure 32''.. I can't wait for these to wear out, plenty of room for 35's

Re: Tire sizes

I think Swampers are the only tires that actually measure up to there stated size. Sometimes even a little bigger.

Re: Tire sizes

According to BFG's website, the 37's are 36.8" and the 35's are 34.8". That is unloaded. I have a set of 33's (BFG's) and the static loaded radius is 15.2". The actual loaded diameter is 31.1".

It is all about their loaded radius. Different tires will "act" different on different trucks. My bias ply swampers stand taller loaded eventhough their unloaded diameters are the same.
