Re: d44 with ctm joints

I am building a d44 out of a chev, narrowed 9 inches. I was quoted that price from a guy out of Gainesville, but that was over a year ago I think.

Drivetrain Warehouse carries the Warns 888-432-7656
Price for complete set of inners, and outers, is $549 (no tax, free shipping). They also have a no question asked return policy. The CTMs have a 5 year full warranty also.

The new 7-560x Spicer joints that Bob spoke of, is the replacement for the 297x which will be phased out. The 7-560x are proving to be considerably stronger than the 297x, but it is still, not the answer, if you are consistently breaking 297x joints.

Re: d44 with ctm joints

would you be substantially better off with cv joints instead of just upgrading to CTM's?
