what tool do i need to remove dana 20 drain plug?

On the tanny/ t-case combo there are four drain or filler plugs. Three of them are the same, (square on top), and one of them is way different. It is the same size as the others but it looks like it has a 3/8 inch suare indent. It looks like it should use an allen wrench but it is square and hexagonal. What tool do i use, and were would i get one? Thanks- Tim

Just stick your 3/8" ratchet in there without a socket.

I second that motion. Just cram your 3/8 ratchet in and start turning

yeah, yeah, yeah. I tried that. The 3/8 ratchet tried to round off the square hole.

if it gets really really really bad, you may have to weld a nut on it to get it off. But thats only a last resort.

If you have that much extra space are you sure it's not a 1/2 square hole thats full of crud?
