Photos in post

What is the code for posting pics in the post part of the Post.

I think it looks a lot better than a whole lot of post with one pic.

thanks

Every mod cost cash twice.
once for the mod and once for what you find out
you want to do next.

*Blinks Twice more*

Is this a poem or a skill testing question?

But, I think your looking for {image} {/image} tags.

Type in {image}http://www.yourwebside.com/yourdirectory/yourpicture.yourextention{/image}

Except REPLACE {} with []

Re: Photos in post

To include the pic in the post, the pic will have to have a url, that is it will have to already be somewhere on the web. Then use the image tags as previously mentioned.

Re: Photos in post

This is getting interesting and complicated. Is there a site that I can go to. Maybe I can learn how to do what I need.

Re: Photos in post

Hate to sound like a smart a$$, but look at the blue line above. You'll see a button labeled "FAQ" that means Frequently Asked Questions. You'll find the info you need there.

Re: Photos in post

Post the pic as normal (2nd screen "preview Post"). Once it's posted, then right click the photo, and choose "copy shortcut". Then edit your post and insert the tags: example, {image}right click and choose "paste" to put the shortcut to your photo here{/image}. This eliminates the need for a dedicated website OR Photopoint page(do they EVER work?). "infantryyj" told me he posts to the "Test Area" and does the above.

Re: Photos in post

Dave, that's doing exactly what I said, only taking the step he was trying to eliminate. Yes, once you attach a pic, it is now on the web and has a url, but the original post was on how to eliminate that step. And there is only one way to do that.
