Doubt you'll get much response from folks here wally. I think I'm just about the only KJ owner who actually checks this board even irregularly. Can't understand why though.great group of folks here LOST VP #0000002

Stop on by anytime kjjeep.com. The home of 'real jeepers driving real jeeps" (wouldn't seem right me posting here without giving krabysniper something to snipe at ) Mostly Kj owners there but we have a couple friendly SWB owners who stop by and post ocassionally.L.O.S.T. is actually recognized by the california association of 4wd clubs and has fairly regular runs .Started out Aug 02 as a joke and a place to escape the rubes who continuously hacked at us on JU in an entirely unfriendly manner. As of today we have 404 registered members. "not only am I VP of L.O.S.T. im also a client errr...... member"
Peace

w3lcome back libby, don't steal all the fresh meat I mean KJ owners this board is really slow, no tech and a embarassment to jeeps in general. No other board is this slow on the BBS, now that all the harsh badgering is over lets see more tech on more kj owners. "wait for warranties to run out" .

Yep!

I am really concerned about these parts going bad more often than normal. My friend who has the 2" lift with spacers in his KJ just had to tow it to the shop to have tha balljoint and the part in which it is attached to the wheel replaced; it was covered under warranty (lucky him)but that does not diminish the fact that he was parking his KJ on the street when this happened!!!.

I started exploring the possibility of reinforcing my KJs front suspension somehow, any ideas???

Re: Lower Ball Joint Poll...have yours gone bad///

Read that the jeep eagle had a D-30 IFS setup. Maybe stronger, might be useful don't know.Half heartedly looking for specs or a junkyard donor myself just for info's sake.Real fortunate the dealer is warrantying the ball joints despite being lifted.Mine has 35000 + hard miles on it and my ball joints are fine accoprding to the alignment shop I just went to. (crosses fingers)
Peace
