Liberty Talk

Hi there,

I want your advise (Im a newbie). I want to lift my KJ (02 Liberty 4x4 Limited Ed, Silver) with the 2.5" suspension lift or something similar to allow a set of 31" tires and handsome wheels.

I see a kit from Rustys, but I dont know how good they I have limited installation equipment. I will probably have to go to the MWR garage and get assist.

What is your recommendation for lift kit? Tires? Rim size and width? I dont want to mess it up as I am on a limited Army budget..

Thanks for your time !

Re: Liberty Talk

Ive got the Rusty lift in my Limited Kj. My best recomendation is to take the struts to a shop that has a good strut compressor. You'll need to compress the springs untill the coils almost touch eachother. 31" tires will fit with a little rubbing just before stop. The rear isnt too bad. The MWR shop on my base had enough stuff at that time.
Good luck.
