Handling question

My KJ Sport has about 1700 miles on it. It wanders on worn roads. I've also read where some KJs pull to the right. The optional (larger) tires are installed on "deluxe" wheels. Is the steering twitchy on these things?

Re: Handling question

There are some KJ's reported pulling to the right and I think it was traced back to the way the transfer trucks tied them down. You're still under warranty so take it back to the dealer for an alignment unless you hit a curb or something or took it offroad, then to be honest you should pay for the alignment.Other than that mine handles like a rock. Re: Handling question

mine pulls a little to the right except when i'm not on pavement then it's as straight as an arrow, go figure. I've taken it offroad quite a few times, and it's pulled out my buddy's explorer a few times .

Re: Handling question

I've got about 5K on the clock now. The tire problems are gone. I think the tires needed some break-in time.

Re: Handling question

No the tires need a "throw in the trash time". I don't like the look, the tread, or the ride. Heard to many problems form those tires, it is ridiculous.

Re: Handling question

Yes the stock tires are trash!!!! I have about 14k miles on mine and I got rid of my tires around 7k miles. Very weak side walls. In about one month I blew three of them. First one was my fault the other two were just a garbage tire!!!!!
