How is your Liberty doing?

I have only had mine a short time. Initial quality seems to be very good, no warranty issues or problems so far.

Re: How is your Liberty doing?

I've had mine since Nov and the only thing I had to replace was the rear interior light which was giving off a buzzing sound, but that was covered under warrenty. The 4 hi works great but alittle sticky getting in and out of 4 lo. I'm very happy with this Liberty it's my first Jeep and I plan to keep it for a long time.

Re: How is your Liberty doing?

My 1986 XJ does the same thing for the 16 years that I've owned it. The owners manual says you can shift into 4wd lo while the Jeep is moving slowly. When in 4wd hi try stopping and putting the transmision into Neutral, then shift the transfer case thru N to 4wd lo. Do the same when shifting out of 4wdlo. That should eliminate 99% of the trouble.

Re: How is your Liberty doing?

Agreed. It's the NP231, not the Liberty. This case has been around since at least 87, right?
