They should delete this board

It's obvious that there are not many owners of KJ's who want to talk about them. Just a thought to see if I can stir up any KJ owners and to see if anybody is even paying attention out there. LOL.

Re: They should delete this board

If you people wanted a Jeep 4x4 you should have saved your $$ and waited until 03' when Jeep will redeem themselves from this horrible embarassment of Inferrior Front Suspension (IFS) and unleash the TJ RUBICON edition with D44 front and rear 4to1 T-case and ELECTRIC LOCKERS F&R. Quite possibly the most off-road capable production vehicle ever made. (Don't even bring up hummers because they are too damn long & wide to do any good on any real trail with trees.) Why is it that the buying public must have their "off road" vehicles pussified into cars? I must praise jeep for the 03' rubicon edition TJ though. Finally soemthing for the people who actually want wheel their junk.

God you guys are getting funny.I bought the KJ 'cause I wanted a four wheeler that has decent road manners and is capable off road.By the way it is capable off road,it'll never be a rockcrawling beast but it'll do what I want it to.Last time I looked the Stars and Stripes were still flying over the White House.Freedom and all that, you know.Oh yeah, the Rubicon has AIR LOCKERS.

Re: They should delete this board

Yeah like I want a wrangler that looks like all other wranglers. I bought my KJ because it looks different and I bet you won't see too many of em that are modded. Infernal Front Suspension has it's drawbacks but so does every other system.Weelie Pete sounds suspiciously close to willy pete. Do i know you from Ju ?? Oh yeah AIR LOCKERS on the rubicon edition NOT electrics

Re: They should delete this board

The KJ is new, less than 1yr old. It's not a matter of whether people want to talk about them, but the fact that the 40% of the people who bought to go off-road are STILL trying to figure out HOW to use this "interesting" machine off-road with no lift kit available. I'd probably buy one if someone (even DaimlerChrysler) would come out with a lift kit for it. Even a Grand Cherokee has a higher ground clearance! (I'm just here looking to see what problems, besides the already mentioned ground clearance, this vehicle has. Too many, and I'll buy a Grand Cherokee.)

Rustys off road and rocky road outfiters make lift kits for the KJ I believe.

Yeah, they both have 2.5" lift kits for the KJ. Also Rocky Road is coming out with a bitchin' bumper for the KJ.

Re: They should delete this board

Thanks.Kinda frustrating sometimes trying to mod a new model without having time to fab stuff myself.I'm told patience is a virtue, I guess I'm not very virtuous. ;-)
