6 lug to 5 lug conversion

I have a front dana 44 from a 76 or 77 J-10. What parts do I need to convert it from 6 lug to 5 lug?

They that can give up essential
liberty to obtain a little temporary
safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Re: 6 lug to 5 lug conversion

I honestly don't know. You prolly could swap the hub from a 5 bolt d44. You might ask this Q over at IFSJA.org.

I hope that helps

Re: 6 lug to 5 lug conversion

I used the spindles and rotor hub assemblies from a 1982 Ford Full Size Bronco that had independent front suspension for my 6 to 5 lug conversion. Some 1976 spindles accept the Ford rotor hub assemblies as well. I am using a 1976 Cherokee front axle, but by the time I got it from the salvage yard, the spindles and rotor hub assemblies were gone.
