Power Steering Problems

K guys, just picked up a 1989 waggie from my sister. On the Fan there are many belts. One of these belts goes to what appears to be a power steering pump, and then on the P.S. pump, there seems to be another belt going to another pully. What is this pully for? Whatever it is, it locked up on me, and I have to replace it.
Any help would be appreciated. Im normally over in the ShortWheelbase section, but since this is a FSJ, I guess I belong asking that question over here!
Thanks again guys!

Re: Power Steering Problems

As you are looking at the motor, to the right (driver's side) and slightly down from the Power Steering pump is the smog pump. It is run by a short belt from the inner ridge of the pulley on the power steering pump. It can be adjusted.

I hope that helps.
