I have a 78 4dr cherokee with a bad front bench seat. Do the bucket seats from Wagoneers and/or J10-J20s fit without to many mods into the cherokee?

thanks,

Jared

I can't guarantee, but yes I think they would. However, finding good Wagonneer seats is near impossible. I suggest: get the motorized bases from the Grand Wagoneers..Mine from 84 to 90 work great. Then buy yourself replacement seats for a CJ. They supposedly bolt up perfectly to the GW bases.

Yes they do bolt up. but it is best to find them out of a cherokee because the wagoneer bucket seats don't fold forward like the cherokee's. I found some perfect wagoneer seats once for my cherokee. The drivers side was fine but I had to transfer the covering to the cherokee frame. It wasn't too much fuss. Another option is to get the bucket seat brackets and moount some aftermarket seats like bestop or steelhorse.
