Jeep Grand Wagoneer

My wife has a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that she absolutely adores. Four years ago we replaced the engine. With the new engine it would hesitate and run rough. Eventually the plugs would foul out. After taking it back to the shop that replaced the engine several times and them replacing several carbeurators, we took it to a local Jeep dealership. They said that the vacumn hoses had been connected wrong. They obtained a schematic, reconnected the hoses correctly, and the jeep ran like a top for two years. Then my wife was driving on an interstate at about 75 miles an hour and blew the drain plug; killed the engine. We replace the engine and it's the same story, same symptoms. I take it back to the local dealer (Which had changed hands) and they say they can't get a schematic anymore and there is nothing they can do for the vehicle. I've probably invested more in this jeep than it is worth, but she'd still like to keep it. If anyone has any wisdom about Jeep Grand Wagoneers or know where to get the schematic to connect the vacumn hoses, or even a competent technician in my area (I live in middle tennessee but could go to Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville, AL, or even Atlanta) who knows about Grand Wagoneers, I would be eternally grateful Thank you.
