\'83 info and soft parts

Hi:

Can anybody tell me what I've got? It's an '83 360 2dr w/Quad, but I know nothing about the trans or the rear end, nor do I have an
owner's manual. It looks completely stock. Any info appreciated. Also, I need soft parts like the rubber caps that go on the hubs,
an ashtray, a power seat etc. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

D.

Re: \'83 info and soft parts

It either has a 80 or newer tranny ( TF727) or 80 older TH400
but it cant have a TF727 with Quadratrack.

they did use a fulltime system in the 80s, Im not sure what they called it, but it wasnt the B&W quadratrack, the 80s fulltime case was a NP 229 or New Process something or other..

look where the rear driveshaft hooks to the transfercase, there should be alittl emetal round tag there somewhere wipe it off, read the model number and tell what it is...
