Wagoneer trany?

Anyone know what trany/transfer case came in a 1980 Grand Wagoneer?

Re: Wagoneer trany?

Depends on whether it was a q-trac or selectrac.... The selectrac came with a TF727 with the AMC 258 orAMC 360 in front...
The q-trac came with a TH 400... It was the only tranny used behind a 401....I think all this is correct....

Re: Wagoneer trany?

If you've got a V-8, then it should be a TorqueFlite A-727 tranny and New Process 219 xfer, (the new Quadra Trac).
