NEED HELP

I have, for days been playing with the brake lights on my 1970 J-3000, and I cannot figure it out, I have traced the wires back and everything. If anyone know about this stuff please let me know. THANX

Re: NEED HELP

I've found that once the wires have been verified in good order, (sometimes even when they are hooked up as they should, corrosion inside the insulation sometimes inhibits a good circuit), I would then suspect the brake switch attached to the bottom of the master cylinder as being kaput.

Re: NEED HELP

do u have 4way flashers?

if so, turn them on and with a volt meter start from the tail and head forward checking for 12V at ea connection when u find the power..than the previous wires are bad...remember, the brake light switch is hydraulic and shood be attached to the bottom of ur brake master cyl...
