amc 20 for d44

I have been thinking about swapping the amc20 in my j10 for a d44. The ox locker is looking pretty damn good to me, as I have to do a lot of driving in the snow. I thought that rather than wiat for them to come out with a model for the 20, i'd swap in a 44.

Did jeep ever put a 44 into a jtruck with the same width as my 20, and with a 3.31 ratio? Thanks, Brendan

If you can't find one with the right gearing, I've got a D44 3.31 R&P with carrier lying around.

Make it up as you go.
