Re: th400 spud shaft

spud shaft?? ur trying to adapt the d20 from a full size jeep to somthing else, or repair the wag??? spud shaft, the shaft coming out of the trear of the th400 or the sleeve that slides over the shafdt coming out of the rear of the th400?

th400 with adaptor ring, i take it this is not the trannie in ur current jeep, just the one u got at a part yard?

Re: th400 spud shaft

ken.
the cast iron ring are stock on the early th400, the spud shaft for lack of a better name rides in the t-case adapter
it fits on the end of the tranny output shaft, then the bull gear for the dana 20 rides on this. i need this spud shaft
the whole setup came out of a wagoneer. any help would be much appreciated
thanks

Re: th400 spud shaft

with all do repect, y do u want to do it this way? the spud shaft u call, is actually a sleeve, riding on the trannies output shaft as u describe.

AA has a better kit that might be ezr to find than this sleeve. but i wood call JnW jeep in sacramento CA or go to their website and ask if ur determined.
