Front SpringOver on J10?

How do you do the front spring-over on a FSJ? How do you get a spring perch on the passenger side. It seems to me that the cast part of the Dana44 is in the way. If you have done this could you send pictures or tell me how? thanks.

Re: Front SpringOver on J10?

The only way to do it is to weld the new perch onto the top of the pumpkin. This would be the most difficult part of the job. Brendan

Ditto that. We've done these before, you just trim the inner portion of 1 side of 1 perch and weld it to the side of the pumpkin. I'll round up a couple of pics and post them tomorrow.

Although this isn't a clear shot you can get the idea. http://www.jeep-shop.com/images/CJ-7_teal_flex_5.jpg I'll post some better pics later.

In addition to that use a nickle rod on the cast portion of the pumkin.
