FS: \'88 Grand Wagoneer (Needs Work)

OK. The deal is the Wagoneer body is in GREAT shape. No rust (except two tiny spots). The 4WD works fine, and there are NO problems with the tranny. The interior is in really good condition. With a suspension lift and some 33's this thing will be bad ass on and off the road.

Now the bad part. Cylinder #1 seems to be hitting the spark plug (bad rod bearing). I do no have the time or the desire to fix it. (I have a CJ7 that I work on and wheel with, it is WELL equipped.) Rod bearings are not that hard to change, just have to drop the pan.

The tires need to be replaced.
The suspension is worn out.

If you have some mechanical skill and a meager budget this is the ride for you. Make me an offer I'm desperate. Need to get a small rice burner to get me from point A to B.

I have some photos if you want me to email them to you.

Re: FS: \'88 Grand Wagoneer (Needs Work)

Hello Karl -

Sorry for the delayed response. The axles are Dana 44 front and rear, I think they have 3:31s in them, open. I have a spare gas tank and some other small parts. Transmission is a TH400 and the transfer case is Quadrtrac? The four wheel drive is fine.

I took a compression test and the #1 cylinder has 30psi. The cylinder next to it #3 has 120. It must have a bent valve.

I would take $1495 for it. It is power everything and the interior is in really good shape. Make me a offer.
